This bronze statuette represents Dido, falling into the sword.
Dido is the founder and Queen of Carthage (modern-day Tunisia). She fell in love with Aeneas, the Trojan hero. She failed to persuade Aeneas to stay and when Aeneas finally sails away with the Trojan ships, Dido runs Aeneas' sword into her breast.
