This caricature depicts British actor and theatre manager Henry Neville. His father was also a theatre manager and Neville acted from early childhood through to his death in 1910. Neville managed the Olympic Theatre between 1873 and 1870, and ran a successful drama school throughout the 1880s. He later specialised in Shakespearean roles, modern comedies and melodramas at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
