About the sculpture
Un bărbat gol, având o cingătoare și o bucată de stofă în dreptul șalelor, este surprins în încordare, pregătindu-se să ridice o lopată plină cu pietriș: genunchii sunt ușor îndoiți, cu mâna dreaptă prinde coada de lemn aproape de lopată, mâna stângă, prinde capătul cozii, contrabalansând greutatea.
