About the sculpture

This terracotta group, made by Jan Baptist Xavery in North Netherlands, 1926, represents Spring as one of the Four Seasons (A25 to A28-1926). This was a sketch model for a stone group formerly at Wingfield Castle, Diss, Norfolk.
