It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
This is a painted plaster model of the French author and philosopher Voltaire. He is seated at a table writing a letter and wears a velvet cap on top of artificial hair. On the table there are two books, an inkstand, a coffee-pot and a cup and the floor is made of alternate black and white tiles.
