This marble relief depicts an unknown young man with waving hair resting on his shoulders, and his head turned three quarters to the right. He wears a coat buttoned down the fron, a plain linenor muslin turned over collar and fluted cuffs of the same material. He is shown holding a sheet of paper with both hands.
The relief is in a contemporary frame.
