Peut-on la contempler ?
Londres, Royaume-Uni
Le propriétaire est connu. Si elle est exposée aujourd’hui, le musée ne le dit pas, et l’on ne nous a pas appris à deviner.
This figure representing Diana, together with related figures A. 9, 10 and 11-1947, was presented to the museum by Lord Wimbourne when he left Wimbourne House in Arlington Street, London, where the four statues had been displayed in niches in the dining room. They had been bought from A. Strom at 23, Rue Saint-Lazare, Paris, in 1919, where they had been attributed to the French sculptor, René Frémin (1672-1744), but there seemed to be no information about provenance.
