A commission in Cincinnati: Le Gourmet and the Hilton
Miró received a commission for wall paintings in the restaurant Le Gourmet and on the terrace of the Hilton hotel in Cincinnati — one of his first monumental works.
1948–1949
Lithography with Mourlot and Lacourière
Miró lived in Barcelona and made frequent trips to Paris to work on printing techniques at the Mourlot Studios and the Atelier Lacourière. His close relationship with Fernand Mourlot produced over a thousand lithographic editions.
